A virtual unknown, this little bottle is cheap (under $10) and for the price is a pretty tasty spiced rum. This stuff is hard to find, so we recommend picking up a bottle if you see one. If anyone has any more information on it, let us know.

captain_morgan_tattoo“Captain Morgan Tattoo, a bold version crafted from fine, aged Puerto Rican rum and hot spices, offers a sweet to heat finish.”

A controversial addition to the Morgan line, supposedly Tattoo was introduced to compete with Jägermeister for marketshare. We’re putting this in two categories for now, Spiced and Infused. We’re not really sure where it should be.

cruzan_light“As with all [their] rums, the Cruzan Estate Light Rum 2 Years is aged in American oak casks. After the aging, though, the light rum goes thru a closely monitored filtration process that reduces color as well as oak and vanilla character. This process also brings out the full-bodied, smooth taste that makes Cruzan Estate Light to the delicate rum it really, really is.”
